Jiaxing City United sewage Plant 17.09MWp flexible support photovoltaic power generation project

At 11:40 on March 28, 2024, the photovoltaic power generation project of Jiaxing United Sewage Plant realized 17.09MWp full capacity grid-connected power generation. This means that it has not only injected new vitality into the cause of green environmental protection in China, but also set a sample for the photovoltaic projects of sewage treatment plants across the country.

The project is invested by Jiaxing Jiayuan Ecological Environment Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Jiaxing Water Group, and EPC work of the specimen project of East China Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., LTD., Power Construction Group and Jiangsu Neusoft Intelligent Technology Co., LTD. The photovoltaic power generation project of the United sewage plant is installed with prestressed flexible support, with a total installed capacity of 17.09MWp and a total investment of 109 million yuan. In the same type of project scale ranked first in the province. The photovoltaic power generation unit is connected to the 10kV bus in the factory after the inverter is increased to 10kV, and a total of 3 connecting points are set up, and 47 300kW inverters are connected to the grid for power generation, and the mode of "self-use, surplus power online" is adopted.

Since the construction of the project, it has received extensive attention from the media at all levels, and its construction results have made positive contributions to the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality". After the full capacity of the project is connected to the grid, the average annual power generation will reach 18.7663 million KWH, saving about 0.56 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 15,000 tons per year. The construction of flexible support photovoltaic power station in the sewage treatment plant can effectively inhibit the growth of green algae in the pool, reduce the frequency of manual cleaning, and maximize the intensive and efficient land use, which has very significant economic and environmental benefits. In November 2023, the project was successfully selected as the "third batch of collaborative benchmarking Projects for pollution Reduction and carbon Reduction in Zhejiang Province".
